SAN FRANCISCO, March 23, 2026—Leading cybersecurity awareness training and human risk management platform, NINJIO, has announced a new set of artificial intelligence capabilities called Sensei AI—aimed at helping organizations address phishing and other forms of social engineering.

Sensei AI is designed to assist security teams in managing phishing simulations, analyzing suspicious emails reported by employees, and expanding training to include voice-based scams, commonly known as vishing.

The release comes as cybercriminals increasingly use automation and AI to create more convincing and scalable phishing campaigns. These attacks often rely on manipulating human behavior rather than exploiting technical vulnerabilities, placing greater emphasis on employee awareness and training.

The new AI features are embedded within NINJIO’s existing platform and are intended to reduce the manual workload associated with security awareness programs. The system can generate simulated phishing emails based on adjustable parameters such as industry context or attack type, allowing organizations to run more tailored training exercises.

In addition, the platform includes a tool that evaluates emails reported by employees as potential phishing attempts. The system provides a classification, confidence score, and suggested next steps meant to help security teams prioritize and respond to threats more quickly.

NINJIO has also added interactive voice phishing (vishing) simulations. These scenarios are designed to replicate real-world attacks in which individuals receive phone or voice-based messages attempting to extract sensitive information. The simulations aim to give employees practical experience in identifying and responding to these tactics.

The company said the new features reflect a broader shift in cybersecurity, as organizations look to better understand and manage “human risk”—the role employees play in preventing or enabling cyber incidents.

Security awareness programs have traditionally focused on periodic training and testing, but evolving threats have prompted many organizations to adopt more continuous and adaptive approaches. AI-driven tools are increasingly being used to support these efforts by automating routine tasks and enabling more personalized training.

NINJIO stated that its new capabilities are intended for use by security teams, IT administrators, and managed service providers seeking to improve phishing detection and employee readiness against social engineering attacks.
