Impressive Cohort of Companies Selected To Participate in AWS Accelerator

Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers startup accelerator programs that provide resources and mentorship to help new businesses grow. These programs are a great way to help startups succeed. AWS is committed to helping companies grow and succeed, and these accelerator programs are a great way to do that.

AWS is launching a Defence Accelerator for UK-based startups and those from Europe, the Middle East, and Africa doing business in the UK. The Defence Accelerator is a program designed to help entrepreneurs who are developing innovative solutions for the defense and security sector.

The AWS Defence Accelerator aims to support startups that use cloud technologies to provide defensive cyber, data discovery and optimization, space exploitation, and sustainability solutions.

Cloud technologies are critical to maintaining military and defensive technological capabilities in today’s world. The speed of collecting, processing, and analyzing data is key to mission success and security. A group of ten startups was selected from more than 100 applications by a panel of subject matter experts from AWS and PUBLIC.

The ten finalists brought forward ideas that will help the defense industry improve. Areas of focus are the ability to find actionable intelligence to support defense decision-making, defend against cyber threats, and make the defense industry more environmentally sustainable.

Startup company Dispersive Holdings has been selected to participate in this elite group of finalists. It will have access to AWS resources and expertise, including credits, training, and support from AWS Solutions Architects. They will also have the opportunity to present their solutions to representatives from the UK Ministry of Defence, the UK defense industry, and venture capital firms.

When asked about this distinction, Dispersive’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Rajiv Pimplaskar, said, “Admission to this program means a lot to us and we’re both excited and honored to have the opportunity to participate in the AWS Defence Accelerator.”

He continued, “Dispersive plans to work closely with AWS to fast track our go-to-market strategy, accelerate sales engagement, and scale our SaaS business internationally leveraging AWS’s best practices and technical expertise.”

Chris Hayman, Director, Public Sector UK, AWS, said, “AWS looks forward to collaborating with these selected startups to accelerate their missions and help them support defense customers using cloud technology.” He offered his congratulations “to this impressive cohort of companies, who were selected from hundreds of applicants for their innovative approaches and commitment to defense technology.”

As a participant, Dispersive is entitled to AWS Activate credits, along with specialized AWS training and support. This opportunity includes access to defense-focused venture investors, mentorship from defense-industry experts, and additional business development resources.

Dispersive Holdings is honored to have been selected to participate in the prestigious AWS Defence Accelerator program. The company looks forward to working closely with AWS to fast-track its go-to-market strategy, accelerate sales engagement, and scale its SaaS business internationally by leveraging AWS’s best practices and technical expertise.
